You've probably forgotten about the Love Calculator, the very real and honest predictor of whether or not your crush likes you.

Before people had things such as Instagram likes or Facebook reactions to judge a crush's interest, this humble little website gave youngsters all the answers they needed, Mic reported.

"Sometimes you'd like to know if a relationship with someone could work out," the website reads. "Therefore, Doctor Love himself designed this great machine for you. With the Love Calculator, you can calculate the probability of a successful relationship between two people."

It's really easy to use. Just enter your name in one box and your crush's in the other. The Love Calculator will show you how likely it is that you will end up with your crush in a percentage.

"The calculator uses an algorithm familiar to elementary-school children and math teachers around the world," The New York Times reported in 1998. "It starts by looking for the number of times the letters L, O, V, E and S occur in the two names; then, through a series of addition sequences, it produces the percentage."

Of course, the website isn't always as accurate as young teens would have you believe. Couples have expressed their displeasure with the website because it gave their relationship low scores even though the relationships worked out in real life.

This can be seen with some celebrity couples, too. As a result, we've decided to send 27 celebrity and popular couples through the Love Calculator gauntlet. We've posted the couple's percentage results (along with a note from Dr. Love) below.
