Chris Hemsworth recently opened up about his thoughts on his children pursuing acting, specifically his 11-year-old daughter India Rose who starred alongside him in "Thor: Love and Thunder," in 2022. "You know, that was originally supposed to be just a super quick little moment in the film, and then the character expanded due to the story changing," said Hemsworth about his daughter's role in the move in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "I said, 'Oh, do you want to do some dialog in the film?' And she's like, 'Yeah, cool!' And she was a pro and loved it." He added saying, "But I want her to have a childhood, and I think so does she." Hemsworth was quick to say that he would support her if she wished to jump into acting "if she's keen to do more things."

Hemsworth encouraged her to "have a childhood" and have fun before she decides to pursue acting. "But I said, 'There's plenty of time, sweetie. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid.' Because once the train moves, it's pretty hard to get off, and you miss a lot of things." Although he doesn't want his children to jump into acting right away, the "Thor" star previously spoke about how cool of an experience it was to have his daughter working alongside him. It felt like a one-off fun family experience," Hemsworth said. "I don't want [my children] to now go and be child stars and actors. It was just a special experience we all had."

Hemsworth married Spanish model, Elsa Pataky, in 2010 and share three children together, India Rose, and twins Sasha and Tristian.
