After facing major injuries from a snowplow accident in January, Jeremy Renner is crediting his 10-year-old daughter, Ava, for helping him heal quickly and being a big source of strength during his recovery. He took to his Instagram stories for his daughter's birthday, writing a heartfelt message saying, "Happy 10th Birthday to you!!!! So very proud of you in every way. Your hugs and your love, have healed me so incredibly fast," he captioned the sweet photo of the two of them, with a sticker covering her face. "I stand up for you, and I am stronger than before because of you. I am your Father, I am your protector, and I am only yours," he said ending the message.

Renner shares his daughter with his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, where they tied the knot soon after the birth of Ava. The pair divorced just 10 months after getting married and share custody of their daughter.

In January, the actor was involved in a snowplow accident, where his 14,000-pound snowcat ran him over. The accident caused Renner to break 30 bones, which resulted in a long road ahead of surgeries and healing. Recently, Renner took to Twitter to share an update on his recovery where he posted a video of him walking using an antigravity treadmill.

In the video, Renner explained that he was using 40% of his body weight to walk on the treadmill. He captioned the video, "I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will. #minduful #intended #recovery."
