Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves gave their son, Levi, a unique 15th birthday present - permission to create his own Instagram account. The parents shared a video to their Instagram page wishing their eldest a happy birthday along with announcing the news that he can open his own Instagram account. "Happy birthday buddy. Can you believe it? 15 years," said Camila at the beginning of the video. "15 years young. Your mom's a little nervous today, about one of the gifts we're giving you," Matthew added. "Yes, we are allowing you Levi, today, to join the social media universe." The pair spoke about how it had been a "long time coming," saying all of Levi's friends had their own pages, but they were the ones "holding it up" for him. "He knows who he is and he knows where he's going. I think he can handle it. He has a great story to tell and share," Matthew continued. He ended the video saying, "Levi, enjoy the adventure, enjoy sharing your story, expressing yourself and what you put out there and the exchange you get with people out there. We love you. Happy birthday."

Levi shared his first Instagram post which was a video reel showing his recent adventures such as surfing and cliff diving. The video had his father's iconic "Dazed and Confused" monologue in the background, and he captioned the video "happy to be here."
