So today, on Compliment Your Mirror Day, it's a chance for the whole family to learn the significance of positive self talk. Studies show that self-affirmations can improve performance, self-compassion, problem solving and overall well-being.

Activity

Talk about the significance of healthy self-talk with your family. Then look through the affirmations from the list below. Have each family member choose seven affirmations that resonate the most with them. Tape the paper to your mirror. Each morning for the rest of the week, each family member should recite one of their chosen affirmations three times in a row while looking at themselves in the mirror.
