Your worst fear has finally been confirmed.

He doesn't love you the way you love him.

It's always the same old story. You don't always intend for it to happen, but you fall head over heels for a guy - but in the end you find out he doesn't love you back. You can't help but feel like you'll never find someone who will love you back. It's easy to get discouraged when your heart breaks. How do you bounce back?

It won't be easy, but you can move on. While your heart is broken now, here are six things you should do to begin the process to healing and finding the one.

1. Give yourself time

With any heartbreak, it takes a little time to get over the initial shock. Allow yourself to cry. Don't be afraid to feel hurt or broken - but don't wallow in self-pity forever. A few days or a week at the most is time enough to get over the initial reaction. You won't be completely over the love, but that doesn't mean you can't start to move on. It takes time to fully heal, just don't convince yourself you'll never love, because that's a lie. You most certainly will.

2. Surround yourself with friends and family

What better way to help yourself heal than by spending time with people who love you unconditionally? Your family is your rock and your foundation. Your parents are there to listen and offer age-old wisdom. Be willing to listen and take their advice to heart. Chances are, they know exactly what you're going through and have better advice to give than you think.

Your friends will be there to support you no matter what. They'll bring tubs of ice cream and happily watch cheesy movies with you while you get over the heartbreak. But more than that, they're there to help you get out of the house and get some fresh air.

Surround yourself with people who you love, and you'll remember the good and happy things in life.

3. Do something you know you love

Heal your heart by doing something you know you love. Dance, read, travel or write - doing what you love can help keep your mind off of your heartbreak and let you move on.

4. Get a change of scenery

If you're sick of all the same things, go on a spontaneous road trip. Take a few friends or go solo. Travel somewhere you love or somewhere you've never been before. The trip itself will be healing and help you to learn more about yourself.

If not a trip, maybe it's time to take on an entirely new adventure. If you're ready for a big change, pack up your things and move somewhere new. It could be just the change you need to find the person you've been looking for.

5. Learn to do something new

If you're sick of the same old, same old, learn to do something new. If there's something you've always wanted to try, give it a shot. If you're daring, go skydiving. Want to play an instrument? Start taking lessons. Whatever it is, find something that interests you and really put your heart and soul into it. You never know what memories you'll make or talents you'll find when you try something new.

6. Break out of your shell

If you're a little introverted, loosen up. Don't be yourself in front of your friends and the strangers you meet. Allow your personality to really shine. Let yourself be more comfortable when meeting new people. You never know - the next person you meet could be the one person you end up with.
