"Oppenheimer" actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso recently had a romantic vacation in Miami Beach after meeting each other 20 years prior at a Miami club. The couple enjoyed their beach day without their children, sharing relaxing moments in the sun and even dipping in the ocean.

The pair met back in 2003 while Damon was filming the movie "Stuck on You" in Miami. Damon explained how he first met his wife while appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show years ago. "I decided to do this movie with the Farrelly brothers," he shared, speaking of the 2003 film. "I made the decision, which was a big decision. And we were supposed to shoot in Hawaii, and then the movie got moved to Miami. And then we were shooting in Miami, and I'd never really hung out in Miami. One night in the middle of the shoot, the crew, a couple of guys said, ‘Hey, we’re gonna go get a beer somewhere.' I said, ‘I’m not really in,'" he explained. "They kind of dragged me along, and we ended up at a bar where my wife was the bartender. And I literally saw her across a crowded room. Literally. Eight years and four kids later, that's my life. I don't know how else I ever could have...our paths would've crossed." He joked saying, "The moral is that when you're tired, just suck it up and go to the bar."

In 2018, Luciana spoke about the night she and her husband met for the first time while being interviewed with Vogue Australia. She recalled seeing him at the nightclub she worked at and noticed that people began to recognize Damon, asking for photos and autographs. Damon asked if he could hide behind the bar that Luciana was working at. She agreed, but under one condition - he had to help her make drinks. "He had trained as a bartender for a film years before, so he started making drinks. And he made me a ton of money in tips that night, because of course, everyone wanted to go and see him," she said. "So it turned into a really fun night and then 15 years later here we are!”

The pair shares four daughters together: Alexia, Isabella, Gia, and Stella. When they first met, Luciana had one child, Alexia, whom Damon adopted.
