Scarlett Johansson recently opened up in an interview with "CBS Mornings" about her marriage to "Saturday Night Live" star Colin Jost and revealed what keeps their relationship going strong. “We laugh a lot and we always, you know, we communicate with one another and check in,” said the "Back Widow" actress. “I’m married to a writer, he’s a comedy writer [and] he can get very in his head sometimes.” She continued by saying, “He’s sort of introverted ― I’m extroverted, obviously ― and so I think the key for us is just always checking in,” Johansson said, adding that the two make time to ask about each other’s days."

The pair tied the knot in 2020 after dating for three years. In August 2021, they welcomed their first child together, Cosmo. Johansson and Jost gushed about their newborn when they attended their first red carpet after his birth where Johansson said, "I feel very fortunate that I've been able to take this time to really enjoy the early stages of my motherhood with our son. "It's been wonderful. I'm in a 'baby bliss bubble.'" Earlier this year, Johansson appeared on Gwyneth Paltrow's podcast, "The Goop Podcast," where she spoke about her relationship with Jost. “There are certain fundamental things in your own personality I needed to share with the other person," said the actress. “I never realized, oh, it’s really important for me — like, I need to be with a compassionate person. That’s like a fundamental characteristic that has to be there.”
