Did you know that you have been spending way too much money on beauty products? There are so many beauty benefits that come from common household items that are just sitting around your house! Once you try them, you will rethink your entire beauty routine:

1. Citrus

Lemons are great at treating blackheads. Slice the lemon in half and squeeze the juice on your face and watch your blackheads disappear.

2. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar can be used as a face toner as well as a hair treatment; the vinegar prevents oil buildup and prevents breakage in your hair.

3. Olive oil

You can pre-condition your hair with olive oil. Simply warm olive oil in the microwave and apply it generously to the ends of your hair and scalp. Leave in for 20 minutes and then proceed with your regular shampoo. Once dried, your hair will be incredibly soft and shiney.

4. Vaseline

Dab a touch of Vaseline wherever you spray perfume to make the scent last much longer, or coat your lashes in Vaseline to make them appear fuller.

5. Uncoated aspirin

If you suffer from dullness, redness, dry patches, and acne on your face, crush five aspirin pills and add water until you form a paste. Add a touch honey and spread the mixture on your face. Wash off after 20 minutes for healthier skin.

6. Unsweetened cocoa powder

If you are brunette but are showing your blonde roots, mix cocoa powder and cornstarch to create a powder that will make your hair appear thicker and cover any lighter hairs.

7. Tin foil

Do you know you can curl your hair with some tinfoil and a flat iron? See how below.

8. Cinnamon

Mix a little bit of cinnamon with honey together for an instant pimple treatment.

9. Nivea after shave balm

Makeup artists have been going absolutely nuts over this product. It's been called the best makeup primer on the market, but is actually just aftershave!

10. Dryer sheets

Is your hair on the frizzy side today? Get an ordinary dryer sheet from your laundry room and smooth it over your hair to eliminate any static or frizz.

11. Green tea bags

After brewing, place a tea bag under each eye to reduce redness and puffiness.

12. Oatmeal

Place a spoonful of oatmeal in your bath to soothe itchy, dry skin.

13. Avocado

Crushed avocado can be applied to your hair for a deep conditioning treatment. Simply apply the loveable green fruit to your dry hair and let it stand for 30 minutes. Then, shampoo and rinse well in a warm shower.

14. Ground coffee

Mix ground coffee with a little bit of sugar and coconut oil, and you have yourself a homemade cellulite treatment.

15. Baby powder

If you run out of dry shampoo, you can sprinkle some baby powder or cornstarch on your scalp and blend the mixture into your hair. The powder will volumize while soaking up extra grease.

16. Toothpaste

Toothpaste not only cleans your teeth but it can also whiten yellow nails. Mix toothpaste and lemon juice to make a paste that you can spread on your nails. Sit for a few minutes and remove to reveal white and shiny nails!

17. Conditioner

If you ever find yourself without shaving cream, you can pop open your bottle of conditioner to use instead.

18. Brown sugar

Brown sugar can be mixed with coconut oil or any kind of natural moisturizer to create an instant body scrub.

19. Baking soda

Place a pinch of baking soda on your toothpaste-covered toothbrush to remove surface stains in heartbeat.

20. Coconut oil

Coconut oil can replace many of your beauty products. It can be used as a body moisturizer, under eye cream, deep conditioner, and much more.

21. Honey

Raw honey has antioxidants, antibacterial, and hydrating properties. It can unclog pores and clarify your skin. Put a thin layer on your face for 30 minutes and rinse.

22. Lotion

If you have multiple flyaways, this trick is a lifesaver. Simply dab a little bit of lotion on your hands, rub them together, and then use your hands to put all of your stray hairs back in place.

23. Cotton t-shirt

Use a plain, spare cotton t-shirt instead of a towel to wrap your hair in after getting out of the shower. The fibers are much more gentle than a regular towel which can help prevent split ends.

24. Spoons

Place cold spoons on your eyes for 10 minutes to make your tired, puffy eyes sparkle.

25. Mayonnaise

This might seem a bit weird, but applying a cup of mayonnaise to your dry hair makes your locks incredibly soft and shiny. Simply let the mayonnaise sit on your hair for 20 minutes before shampooing like normal.

26. Cranberry juice

If you have naturally red hair or color-treated red hair, covering your hair in PURE cranberry juice can enhance or brighten the color when it begins to fade.

27. Eggs

Use an egg for a simple hair mask. Use the entire egg for normal to dry hair, just the egg white for oily hair, and just the egg yolk for dry, brittle hair. Apply the egg to your clean, damp hair and rince out with cold water after 20 minutes.

28. Yogurt

Massage ½ cup of plain yogurt into damp hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water followed by shampoo.

29. Coffee filters

If you have excess oils on your face or on your scalp, coffee filters work just as well as oil blotters do. Simply dab a bit of your unused coffee filter on your scalp or face to absorb excess oil.

30. Cooking spray

Instantly dry your nail polish and hydrate your cuticles with this hack. Grab a can of cooking spray from your kitchen and spray your nails from about six inches away.
