As any loving mother with cancer would worry, Kerry Huffaker was afraid she would not be able to dance with her son at his wedding. She was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer in February, with a less-than-20-month prognosis.

Her son, Dylan, surprised her with a box of donuts and a message written in icing that read, "Will you go to prom with me?"

Huffaker told ABC News, "My reaction was, 'You don't want to go to prom with your old, bald mom. You'll be embarrassed.' And he said, 'No I won't. I'll have the prettiest date there.'"
