She continued by saying, "And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!! I love you so much !!!" She ended the caption saying, "Psss … I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years!!! Let’s go shopping afterwards!!!"

The duo has had quite the complicated relationship over the years after Britney was placed under a conservatorship, taking away much of her decision making rights, after a public mental health crisis in 2008. Britney and her mother had a falling out in 2021 when Spears' conservatorship was terminated in November of that year, making their recent meet-up the first one in many years.

Spears did not invite her mother or sister, Jamie Lynne, to her wedding in June 2022 when she tied the knot with husband Sam Asghari. The pair had an intimate wedding of 60 guests at their Californian home. Although Lynne was not invited to her daughter's wedding, she shared her support for her daughter by commenting on her Instagram photos from the wedding saying, "You look radiant and so happy!" She added another comment saying, "Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!" The pair seems to have sorted things out after their three-year long feud and they both couldn't seem happier.
