A year ago, Reddit user mollsballsss read something that changed her skin's life forever

She found it on a Reddit page called Skincare Addiction.

"I found this subreddit and have tried to follow some of the recommendations," she wrote. "In one post, someone mentioned not washing his/her face, and for some reason, that jumped out at me to try."

The quest for clear skin has been a several year journey for mollsballsss. She said she has been on Accutane twice in the past five years. But this suggestion to stop cleaning her skin with facial cleanser did what nothing seemed to do for her before.

"It has made a HUGE difference," she writes

"I still get breakouts but I'm really happy with this progress!"

The skincare routine mollsballsss said she follows is very simple.

In the morning

  • Splashes her face with luke-warm water in the shower

  • Moisturizes with CereVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion (SPF 30). Buy it here.

In the evening

  • Removes makeup with Garnier Micellar Water. Buy it here.

  • Splashes with luke-warm water

  • Moisturizes with Garnier Skin Active Moisture Rescue for Dry Skin. Buy it here.

She also said she thinks switching her shampoo to a sulfate free shampoo helped her skin improve too.

Many were amazed by her results, and some said they'd had similar routines with similar results.
